Account setup

Benchmrk uses secure authentication for account management. You need an account to access survey mark data.

Creating your account​

  1. Open Benchmrk and tap Sign Up on the login screen.
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password.
  3. Tap Create Account.

Email verification​

After creating your account, Benchmrk sends a verification email to the address you provided.

  1. Check your inbox for the verification email from Benchmrk.
  2. Tap the verification link in the email.
  3. Return to the app and tap Continue or relaunch the app.
tip

Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the verification email within a few minutes.

Forgot password​

If you forget your password:

  1. Tap Forgot Password? on the login screen.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  3. Tap Send Reset Link.
  4. Check your email for the password reset link and follow the instructions.

Biometric login​

Benchmrk supports Face ID and Touch ID for quick, secure login after your initial sign-in.

  • After signing in with your email and password, the app offers to save your credentials securely on your device.
  • On subsequent launches, tap the Face ID or Touch ID prompt to sign in without re-entering your password.

Biometric login securely stores your credentials on-device. Your password is never stored in plain text.

Profile menu​

After signing in, you can access your profile from the map screen. The profile menu includes:

  • Jurisdiction — change your active jurisdiction
  • Profile Information — view and edit your account details
  • Community — connect with other Benchmrk users
  • App Tour — replay the introductory walkthrough
  • Support — open in-app support chat
  • Feature Request — submit feature suggestions
  • Privacy Policy — view the legal privacy policy

App tour​

On first launch, Benchmrk displays an introductory walkthrough guiding you through the main features. You can replay this tour at any time from Profile → App Tour.
