Account Setup

Benchmrk uses secure authentication to manage user accounts. This page walks you through creating an account, verifying your email, and signing in for the first time.

Creating your account

1. Navigate to Benchmrk in your browser.
2. Click Sign Up on the login screen.
3. Enter your email address and choose a secure password.
4. Click Create Account to submit your registration.

tip

Use a work email if you plan to use Benchmrk for professional projects — this makes it easier to manage your subscription later.

Email verification

After signing up, a verification email is sent to the address you provided.

1. Check your inbox for an email from Benchmrk (check your spam folder if it does not arrive within a few minutes).
2. Click the Verify Email link in the message.
3. Once verified, you can sign in to the app.

warning

You must verify your email before you can access all features. Some functionality may be restricted until verification is complete.

Signing in for the first time

1. Return to Benchmrk.
2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign In.
3. On your first login, the app opens to the default jurisdiction map view. You are ready to start exploring.

Password reset

If you forget your password:

1. Click Forgot Password on the login screen.
2. Enter your registered email address.
3. Check your inbox for a password reset link and follow the instructions.
