info

Not all fields are available for every mark. The app displays only the fields that have data for the selected mark and jurisdiction.

Vertical data

The vertical data section displays height information referenced to the Australian Height Datum:

AHD section

  • AHD height — the mark's height above the Australian Height Datum
  • Vertical order and class
  • Vertical uncertainty
  • Published date and technique
  • Levelling section (where available)

Mark details section

This section displays metadata about the physical mark itself:

  • Mark type — e.g. PM, TS, BM, SSM, PSM
  • Mark status — current condition (e.g. OK, destroyed, not found)
  • Mark symbol — the symbology used on survey plans
  • Installation date (where available)
  • Last visit date (where available)

Jurisdiction-specific field display

The details panel adapts its field display based on the selected jurisdiction. Each jurisdiction uses different field names and data structures from its survey authority's API.

Primary identifier fields

The fields displayed vary by jurisdiction. Each jurisdiction's data schema determines which metadata, coordinates, and classification fields are shown.

Jurisdiction-specific horizontal accuracy fields

The accuracy information displayed varies by jurisdiction. Depending on the state or territory, you may see:

  • Horizontal order and class — the classification of horizontal coordinate accuracy
  • Horizontal uncertainty — a numeric value representing positional uncertainty in metres
  • Vertical order and class — the classification of height accuracy
  • Vertical uncertainty — a numeric value representing height uncertainty in metres

Not all jurisdictions provide both order/class and uncertainty values. The details panel shows whichever fields are available for the selected mark.
